• A homeless man with AIDS stopped me on the street recently. After talking to him for a few minutes, I gave him $15. As I was walking away I heard him yell "and you shoulda won that Oscar, too!" I turned back to him and yelled, "Honey, both of them!"

• Fear has always been a great motivator for me. There are a lot of things I've done because I was afraid to do them, so I thought I should.
