Wonder Boy in Monster Land

Wonder Boy in Monster Land (in North America, Europe, and Japan (arcade only) or Monster World: Super Wonder Boy (Japan, SMS only), is a video game released for the arcades, for the Amiga computer platform, and for the Sega Master System.

The game is in English in North America and Europe, and the game is in Japanese in its respective country.

Sega and Westone programmed the arcade version in 1987. The Master System version came in 1988. The game involves a young hero who is trying to slay the dragon.

Tec Toy, Sega's distributor in Brazil, altered the Master System game and released it as Mônica No Castelo Do Dragão. Tec Toy replaced the boy with a young girl named Mônica (from Turma da Mônica), who hits enemies with a toy rabbit called Sansão. This game is in Portuguese.
