Tung Chung Line

Tung Chung Line (東涌線 Trad. Chi.; 东涌线 Sim. Chi.) is a railway that links Tung Chung with Hong Kong Island, built and operated by MTRC. Part of Tung Chung Line was built along with the Kap Shui Mun Bridge and the Tsing Ma Bridge.

There are currently seven stations:

  • Tung Chung (東涌; 东涌),
  • Tsing Yi (青衣; 青衣),
  • Lai King (荔景; 荔景),
  • Nam Cheong (南昌; 南昌),
  • Olympic (奧運; 奥运),
  • Kowloon (九龍; 九龙),
  • Hong Kong (香港; 香港).

Hong Kong, Kowloon and Tsing Yi Stations are the interchange with the Airport Express. Nam Cheong station is an interchange station with the West Rail of KCRC.

MTR is building a new station, Yam O, located between Tung Chung and Tsing Yi. There will be a new railway linking Yam O with the future Hong Kong Disneyland theme park on Lantau Island.
