Their Satanic Majesties Request is a Rolling Stones album. It drew much influence from the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's and held a similar psychedelic feel. Despite producing several excellent songs including the favorites "She's A Rainbow" and "2000 Light Years from Home", the album was not well recieved at the time, and is still regarded as a weaker release by the Stones. It was not until Beggars Banquet was released the following year that the Stones would be recognized again as a great rock and roll band.
