The Yellow and Black Attack
The Yellow and Black Attack EP was the first release of the Christian metal band Stryper, out on July 10, 1984. It featured six songs: From Wrong To Right, Loud N' Clear, You Know What To Do, Co'mon Rock, You Won't Be Lonely, and Loving You. There were no singles from it, and only 10000 - 20000 copies were printed because the company they were with, Enigma Records, weren't sure how many would sell, mainly because the idea of Christian metal was still unheard of at this time.During this tour they opened for bands like Ratt and Bon Jovi, which made critics say they weren't really a Christian band.
The EP was re-released on August 10, 1986 with the songs Reason For The Season and My Love I'll Always Show added, and a different cover.
