Temple, Michigan

Temple is an unincorporated community located just off Michigan State Highway 61 in the north of the lower peninsula of Michigan. It is located approximately 12 miles west of Harrison, Clare County, Michigan. Located along the Muskegon River, it was a bustling area when Michigan's logging industry was in its prime; however, it is now regarded as a ghost town, like many of lower Michigan's former logging centers.
