Southern ItalySouthern Italy is the Southern European part of Italy, compared to the Alpine States or Central European Italy. It mainly includes every Italian region that touches the Mediterranean Sea, with a few exceptions. Those not in Southern Italy include: Aosta Valley, Lombardy, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Trentino-South Tyrol and Veneto. |
