Six-man football

Six-man football is a variation of high school American football played with six people on each team instead of eleven. It was developed in Nebraska during the Great Depression as an alternative for smaller high schools. It is a fast moving game played on a slightly smaller field than regular football. All players are eligible to be receivers. It is still played in some small Texas towns.
