Schaerbeek within the Brussels-Capital Region
Schaerbeek (French) or Schaarbeek (Dutch) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium.

On 1 January 2000 the municipality had a total population of 105,692 (51,704 males and 53,988 females). The total area is 7.95 km² which gives a population density of 13,294.59 inhabitants per km².
