Sapindaceae, also known as the Soapberry family, is a family of plants in the order Sapindales.
Sapindaceae includes many species of tropical fruit, including the Lychee, the Guarana, the Longan, the Rambutan, the Mamoncillo and the Akee.
The largely temperate families Hippocastanaceae (Buckeyes & Horse-chestnuts;) and Aceraceae (Maples) are very closely related, and are increasingly being included within the Sapindaceae by many botanists.
