Roti

Roti, a round flat bread made of flour, forms a staple food in South and Southeast Asia. Unlike their counterpart naan breads, rotis are completely flat, and do not contain yeast.

Like naans, rotis serve to scoop up other foods.

Roti also features prominently in the diet of many West Indian countries, although the rotis from these areas tend to differ from South Indian roti.
