Public access television

Public access television refers to cable television channel capacity, and facilities and equipment for use of the channel capacity, provided to the public free of charge on a first-come, first-served, non-discriminitory basis. Related to public access are government and educational access and leased access television, which allows for programming of a more commercial nature.
