Pittsburgh Maulers
The Pittsburgh Maulers were a team which competed in the 1984 season of the United States Football League only, ceasing operation after the season. Their most prominent player was running back Mike Rozier, former winner of collegiate football's most prestigious individual award, the Heisman Trophy. They were owned by shopping mall magnate Edward J. DeBartolo, who later achieved far greater fame as a football owner when he owned the San Fransisco 49ers of the National Football League.
