Pitlochry

Pitlochry is a burgh in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, lying on the River Tummel. It is largely a twentieth century town, having grown as a tourist resort, in particular a centre for hill walking. The town has two whisky distilleries, a small theatre and a hydroelectric power station. The dam which provides the power is known for its salmon ladder, which the fish leap up.

It was the winner of the 2003 Britain in Bloom, in the category of 'Small Country Town'.
