Pieria

Pieria is one of the fifty-one prefectures of Greece. It is within the Central Macedonia periphery. Its capital is the town of Katerini. Pieria is the smallest prefecture within the Macedonia periphery. In Pieria, there are many sites of archeological interest, such as Dion, Pydna and Platamonas.
