Peter BuckPeter Buck (born December 6, 1956, Los Angeles) is the guitarist and co-founder, along with member Michael Stipe, Mike Mills, and Bill Berry, of seminal 1980s college rock band R.E.M. After spending time in Los Angeles then San Francisco, the Buck family moved to Athens, GA where Peter Buck eventually worked at the popular Athens record store Wuxtry where he met R.E.M. frontman and singer Michael Stipe. |
