Pasteur Institute
The Pasteur Institute (French: Institut Pasteur) is a French non-profit private foundation dedicated to the study of biology, microorganisms, ailments and vaccines. It is named after Louis Pasteur.It was inaugurated in 1888.
The Institute has three spheres of activity:
- scientific research in biology
- education
- public health activities, including a medical center (with strong expertise infectious and tropical diseases, vaccinations for travellers...)
