Panji Tohjaya Was the son of Tunggul Ametung, the first husband of Ken Dedes. Tunggul Ametung was the resident of Singashari before Singashari became a kingdom. Tunggul Ametung was die in the hand of Ken Arok using Keris Mpu Gandring. After Tunggul Ametung dead Ken Arok Married Ken Dedes and he build a Singashari Kingdom where he was a first king of this kingdom.The reason of Ken arok married Ken Dedes because Ken Dedes is a very beautiful woman and so she is the Nareshwari or she can bring a power to man who married her. So that the reason why Ken Arok married her.
