PAIXPAIX, or Peering And Internet Exchanges, headquartered in Palo Alto, California is one of the United States' major Internet exchange locations. An Internet exchange location is a facility at which a number of ISP's install routers on a common network. PAIX began operations in 1996 as Palo Alto Internet Exchange, and has been acquired by several different companies throughout its existence. |
