Osaka-Kobe-Kyoto

Ōsaka-Kōbe-Kyōto is the name of a metropolitan area that is centered around the cities of Osaka in the Osaka prefecture, Kobe in the Hyogo prefecture, and Kyoto in the Kyoto prefecture.

The area is often known as Keihanshin (京阪神) in the Japanese language. This name is based on the kanji of Kyoto (京都), Osaka (大阪), and Kobe (神戸).
