Nord, Haiti
Nord (English: North) is one of the nine departments of Haiti. It has an area of 2,106 km² and a population of 872,200 (2002). Its capital is Cap-Haïtien.
The department is divided in 7 arrondissements:
- l'Acul-du-Nord
- Borgne
- le Cap-Haïtien
- Grand-Rivière du Nord
- le Limbé
- Plaisance
- Saint-Raphaël
