Nakhon Sawan

Nakhon Sawan is both the name of a major city and a province in Thailand.

The city of Nakhon Sawan is some 240km North of Bangkok, and marks the point of confluence of several of Thailand major rivers, the Ping, the Wan, the Yom and the Nan. These converge in Nakhon Sawan to form the mighty Chao Phraya which flows south to Bangkok and out into the Gulf of Thailand.
