Michael Riconosciuto
Michael Riconosciuto is an electronics and computer expert from Tacoma, Washington, who was a key player in the Inslaw incident, and who has subsequently been incarcerated on unrelated drug charges. He is considered by many to be a political prisoner, jailed on trumped up charges to silence his accusations in the Inslaw case.Riconosciuto had been a computer programmer, and claims he had been hired to alter Inslaw's PROMIS software to allow for clandestine tracking of individuals. Riconoscito claims his knowledge of PROMIS makes him a threat to the United States Government, particularly the Justice Department, and this has resulted in his incarceration.
In recent years, Riconosciuto has claimed inside knowledge of terrorist activities, including a claim to have correctly predicted the 9/11 attacks.
Riconsciuto and his father, Marshall Riconosciuto, were close associates of Fred Crisman, which ties him to a long legacy of conspiratorial traditions.
