Karakalpakstan

Karakalpakstan (Uzbek: Qoraqalpog'iston; Karakalpak: Qaraqalpaqstan) is an autonomous republic of Uzbekistan, located in the western part of the country, and bordering the south of the Aral Sea. Capital: Nukus (Nökis). Its territory covers the classical land of Khwarezmia.
