Electrical conductor

An electrical conductor is a material, or piece of material, that can conduct an electric current. Electrical conductors include metals, semiconductors, and ionic conductors. The opposite of an electrical conductor is an electrical insulator. The distinction is a gradual one, as most insulators have a small but measurably non-zero conductance at finite temperatures.
