Demolition

Demolition is the opposite of construction: the tearing-down of manmade structures. This is often accomplished by implosion, created by using explosives. A wrecking ball may also be used, especially for masonry, though this has fallen out of use in recent years. Small buildings such as houses may be demolished with a bulldozer or other such construction equipment.
