Children of Bodom

Children of Bodom is a Finnish melodic death metal band, formed in 1993. Coming togather in the town of Espoo, and forming under the name of Inearthed, the Finns would soon change names. The name Children of Bodom is derived from a serial killing spree in 1960 near campsites at Lake Bodom in Finland.

They have released four full-length albums:

• Alexi Laiho - Vocals, guitars
• Alexander Kuoppala - Guitar (recently quit the band; replaced by Roope Latvala as a session player)
• Janne Viljami Wirman - Keyboards
• Henkka T. Seppälä - 5-string bass
• Jaska Raatikainen - Drums
