Bateia

In Greek mythology, Bateia can refer to several characters:

  1. The daughter of Teucer and ancesstress of the Trojans. (See Batea.)
  2. A naiad. Either she or Gorgophone was was the mother of Hippocoon, Icarius and Tyndareus with the Spartan King Oebalus.
