Australian 1st Division
The name 1st Division has been used for two different units of the Australian Army.
- In 1914, a 1st Division was raised as part of the First Australian Imperial Force. When World War One ended the division was demobilised. See: Australian 1st Division (World War I).
- In 1921, the 1st Division name was revived and was assigned to an Australian Citizens Military Forces (reserve) unit, elements of which served in the South West Pacific theatre during World War Two.
