Andres Bonifacio
Andres Bonifacio (November 30, 1863 - May 10, 1897) was a leader in the revolution of the Philippines against Spanish colonial rule, the first revolution in Asia against European colonial rule. In 1892 he founded the Katipunan revolutionary secret society, which would later become the core of the Revolutionary Philippine Army.In the Katipunan, he held the title of Supremo, and later on, founded a Revolutionary Government (Pamahalaang Mapamaghimagsik).
As the revolution ended, an election was held in Tejeros, Cavite, in Emilio Aguinaldo's mansion, and whose participants were solely from Cavite. Aguinaldo won as President, and the Supremo fell to the position of 'Director of Interior'. Bonifacio contested the results, and Aguinaldo ordered his men to execute Bonifacio together with his brother.
